This is the type of portrait session that probably pops into your head when you think of working with a family photographer. We’ll meet at a scenic outdoor location at a time that gives us the best chance to get that beautiful, golden, glowy light. Traditional doesn’t mean boring! I’ll lead you through prompts for more posed and candid moments, focusing the whole time on making memories and connecting with each other. This is perfect if you’re wanting to update your framed family photos around your house or get this year’s Christmas card photo.

This session typically lasts at least an hour. I want to make sure you and your family have plenty of time to get comfortable with the whole process so everyone is feeling and acting like themselves. We won’t rush the creativity or the magic!

You’ll receive a link to an online viewing/ordering gallery with a minimum of 50 high resolution edited images that you can download and print with a full print release. 

This session takes place in the comfort of your home within the first few weeks or months that you’ve brought your little one home. I’ll capture these fleeting moments for you – the tiny toes, sleepy yawns, their crib and nursery, the family snuggles on your bed, you interacting with your brand new baby, and all the feelings of welcoming the newest member of your family. Your whole immediate family is invited to join in this session.

This session typically lasts at least an hour, and you’ll receive a link to an online viewing/ordering gallery with a minimum of 50 high resolution edited images that you can download and print with a full print release. 

This session is for families wanting a personal, documentary-style experience that captures your unique story. We’ll select a location that’s meaningful to you – your home, your favorite park, on the lake – and capture what makes your family so special. Whether it’s jumping on your trampoline, cooking together in the kitchen, or chasing animals at the farm, these sessions are less about getting that perfectly posed shot and more about documenting your real life. My goal is that you see your true selves in these photos and see that it is beautiful!

These sessions typically last 1.5 to 2 hours. You’ll receive a link to an online viewing/ordering gallery with a minimum of 75 high resolution edited images that you can download and print with a full print release.

Of course we’ve all owned and read alphabet books – A is for Apple, B is for Ball, C is for Carrot. Now imagine an ABC book fully customized to your family. H is for Home, but it’s a photo of your family in front of your own house. M is for Mama, and it’s a photo of you snuggling your little ones. I’ll ask you the names of your kids’ favorite stuffed animals, your favorite things to do as a family, what’s unique about YOU, and will plan and create a completely custom alphabet book for you: F is for your Family.

These sessions typically take place at your home or a special location of your choosing. The session will last approximately 1.5 hours and include a professionally printed lay-flat album of your personalized alphabet book. You’ll also receive a link to an online viewing/ordering gallery with all of the images captured in your session.

While pets are always welcome in any other session, sometimes you may want your furry family member to be the star of the show! Whether you want photos of your brand new puppy or you want to memorialize the lifelong friendship of your beloved pet, I’d love to capture them and you with them. I have years of experience training dogs and will use treats and positive reinforcement to get those “sit” poses as well as capture them as their goofy, wiggly selves.

Pet portrait sessions typically last one hour. You’ll receive a link to an online viewing/ordering gallery with a minimum of 50 high resolution edited images that you can download and print with a full print release.
