Jen & Patrick

I met Jen about three years ago when we were staffed to the same project at work. Our assignment brought us to Chicago a few different times, and each Sunday evening we would head to Whole Foods together, bonding instantly over our love of healthy snacks and a little bit of homesickness to have left our husbands and pups back in Madison for the week. To this day, I can’t eat sugar snap peas and hummus without thinking of Jen!

For as long as we’ve known Jen and Patrick, Steve and I have known that they’ve both so been looking forward to starting a family together, and when Jen shared with me that she and Patrick were expecting, I could not have been happier. I definitely shed some happy tears in my office! I was so honored when Jen asked a few weeks ago if I would take some photos to memorialize such a special time in their lives.

Their session last week was an absolute blast. They are naturals in front of the camera, making each other (and me!) laugh the whole time. And the love that they have for each other and their baby girl as well as their excitement and anticipation for meeting her was so evident in every photo. I can’t wait to meet your little love, Jen and Patrick!
